Amazing $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

Following a brief run earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back with an encore available through early December. Primary Feature

The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, features merely four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the annual collection from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, underground complexes, urban centers, and land masses from almost any perspective. You can even design character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly more advantageous for cartography beginners considering you even get introductory guides to help you get started. The one caveat here is that while the purchase is available on any platform, the software is only usable on Windows.
